Bernhardt, I emailed this article to my friend and he said he spontaneously discovered your book on consciousness at the library several months ago.

He sent me this Utube link on awareness and consciousness.

Your voice is calm and soothing.

Appreciate your focus on origins of definitions.

Wish I had written this!

You connect every thing in nature with the abstract world.

From small particles to large bodies in space.

The end of the movie LUCY shows everything morphing into everything else.

From or with computer data or inFORMation.

Expressing total unity beyond separation.

How can we be so sure that "the world of formless information is the basis of the physical world"? Using "knitting theory," haven't we assumed that "formless information" not only preexists the physical world which is formed from it but also that it is independently self-existing? Is it not the case that there is no formless information world of EL apart from the physical world - no knitting apart from the cable? Is it not the case that formless information and the physical world - the cable and the knitting - arise dependently and therefore have no separate, independent existence?

We can be sure insofar as it is the only logical explanation. EL is "self-existing" ... although the word exist is dangerous in this context as I explain in my book on consciousness. Your question makes sense in the kingdom of separateness, where things have a beginning and an end. The kingdom of non-separateness, EL, has neither a beginning nor an end. This alone suffices to understand that EL is the basis of the universe. It "existed" before the universe came into being.

I am working on a book "Theory of Mind," in which I will explain all this in more detail.
