I really enjoyed reading this. It brought to mind the book The Body Speaks the Mind by Deb Shapiro. I refer to it often and it amazes me how accurate it is. This is the 2nd article I’ve come across today about social isolation. It’s obviously something I need to consider.
I support your effort to discover what you are. However, not all physical problems have a mental origin. I had insulin-dependent diabetes until a kidney and pancreas transplant 27 years ago. My mind did not cause that. What I have learned is that we all need other people. Even you need the folks in the grocery store and all those it took to get those items to the shelves. I’m completely comfortable alone, but I’d rather not be most of the time. I’m glad your method worked for you, but it’s not for everyone. Thanks.
I appreciate your comment. BUT what you said SUPPORTS the perspective that all physical problems have mental causes. Here is why:
Every organ has mental topics connected with it. Kidneys are related to being part of a team of two or more people. Pancreas is related to sweetness in your life, which often comes from being with other people (cf the oxytocin production). SUFFERING from aloneness, therefore, stresses the kidneys and the pancreas.
So the question is: why does someone suffer from aloneness?
No two people are equal. Therefore, it is WRONG to say that we all need other people.
For some people, fulfilling their purpose requires other people; for some, it does not. Of course, this can change over time … our life is dynamic, not static.

The only universal statement that I found in my research is: the cosmos (= universal order) pushes everything and everyone to fulfill their purpose as part of the whole; see my article “Who Can You Trust?”: https://open.substack.com/pub/bernhardexplores/p/who-can-you-trust?r=3oqs68&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web.
For some people, fulfilling their purpose requires other people; for some, it does not. Of course, this can change over time … our life is dynamic, not static.
Suffering from aloneness, therefore, can have two causes: (1) Your life purpose requires other people, but you are alone. In this case, your suffering is the cosmic push to find and live your purpose; but a PROGRAM hinders you from hearing the cosmic voice; see my articles “Intuition is More Than Just a Sixth Sense”: https://open.substack.com/pub/bernhardexplores/p/intuition-is-much-more-than-just?r=3oqs68&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web and “Why 230,000 People Died in the Tsunami – but Almost No Animals”: https://open.substack.com/pub/bernhardexplores/p/why-230000-people-died-in-the-tsunami?r=3oqs68&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
(2) Your life purpose does not require other people. In this case it is a PROGRAM that makes you suffer from aloneness.
So ultimately, it is your PROGRAMS that cause your suffering … and thus the disease. Programs are a mental cause.
